HOW TO APPLY

Medicinal chemistry is the link between lab-based synthetic chemistry and the realworld of health care, prescription medicines, and pharmaceuticals.

As a medicinal chemistry student, you’ll learn about the entire process ofdrug discovery — from lead generation and molecular optimisation through toproduction, clinical approval and treatment. You will gain the knowledge and skillsto work at the front line of the pharmaceutical industry.

Recommended preparation

Year 13 chemistry is recommended preparation for first-year students, but for those who have had minimal preparation in chemistry, we offer, an introductory Chemistry course.
